Thanks to the presence of expert and specialized professionals, the innovative automation and control laboratory carries out mechatronic and electronic design activities, research and consultancy in the development of products, firmware and software applications, certification support for their marketing and tests are performed on sensors and automation technologies, motion control and power electronics, as well as miniaturized GPS, radio frequency and IoT localization systems, aimed at support applications for the Public Administration and Private Industry.
Electrotechnical Research and Development
Industrial and nuclear plants. Design of electrical equipment on the machine, of automation panels with development of PLC programs, remote control systems, HMI supervision and motion control.
Academy for training and piloting UAS (drones)
The RE ENEA ENAC.UAS-RE.085 part of the EXADRONE project www.exadrone.it was created in partnership with ENEA Centro Ricerche Brasimone. The project was funded by the Emilia Romagna Region (DGR N.545 of 08/04/2019),
Drones and Sensors
In the Automation and Control Laboratory and with the REENEA ENAC.UAS-RE.085, the mechatronic and aerodynamic design with CFD simulation, drones equipped with advanced sensors for monitoring concrete structures and/or nuclear sites are designed and built. The research and consultancy activity in embedded electronic design is based on functional models of predictive simulation, the development and industrialization of products, firmware and software applications, support for certification for product marketing.
