CLASSROOM COURSES IN VILLA RUGGERI - AIRFIELD - OFFICES

Inaugurated on 23 November 2022 in the new two-storey building inside the Brasimone Center, which houses the Automation and Control Laboratory for electronic and drone design, as well as the ENEA Recognized Entities-RE, pursuant to the Regulation ( EU) 2019/947 which provides practical training to Remote pilots in the "SPECIFIC" category.
The primary headquarters with classrooms and training area are located in the ENEA Brasimone Research Center - Camugnano (Bologna). It arises from a partnership project between METAPROJECTS Scientific Research and the Innovative Projects Section of the ENEA Fusion and Nuclear Safety Technologies Department.
The flight academy for the theoretical and practical training of drones is also open to the public, with its training camp, authorized and certified by ENAC. These are the results of the EXADRONE project, funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region with 581,000 euros out of a total of 775,000 euros, as part of a memorandum of understanding signed between Enea, the Emilia-Romagna Regions and Tuscany.

THE AUTHORIZED TRAINING SCENARIOS ARE:
EASA STS01/02
IT STS01/02

It is possible to take the A2 exam in the classroom of Villa Ruggeri in "proctored mode".
To obtain the Specific STS qualification it is necessary to have obtained Open A1-3 and Open A2, in addition to the qualifying courses indicated below.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS
The RE provides manuals, sora analyses, support and training to external operators for special missions authorized by ENAC for the PDRA and SORA scenarios indicated above.
